What is it with my friends and drink?! They think to have a good time you need to get totally hammered!! Alcohol is dangerous!
Jus speaking to my b/f, he suggested a few of us going to his on saturday night, with 'a few alcholic beverages', those were his exact words, yea wateva! Last time he was totally off his head! I even found myself to embarrassed to refuse a drink, i didn't drink it, jus tipped it in da sink when people werent looking. Thats how much pressure i feel, if i don't want to drink it has to be because i have work the next day or something, its not allowed to be just because i don't want to!!!!! I haven't seen my b/f since sunday, i reallyyyyyyy want to see him, but im finding myself thinking of excuses as to why i cant go on saturday night because i don't want to go where everyone will be drinking!! The worst part is i no he only does it to show of infront of his friends, the way he was consuming it wasn't for fun, it was to act all 'hard' and 'big'! yea wateva!!!
I hate it, its horrid! I don't no what to think, it just seems like everyone around me is drinking, everyone talks about how they got hammered or wrecked etc. Yea i no a lot of that will just be talk and will people trying to impress. But ho do you ignore it when its happening right infront of you?! Im even afradi to say something to my b/f because i don't wanna loose face. Tho thinking bout it, i am, when he asks about sat night, say 'yea sure, so long as you promise not to drink so much this time, it sort of spoilt it last time.' Jokingly and seriously at the same time. Wat do you think?! I have the right don't i?! Im not just being uptight and boring?!

Hey Sara, its a good thing that you can resist peer pressure... if there's one thing that I will not do, its drink or smoke because it makes me look 'cool' or 'big'. If it doesn't agree with you, then say no. People may not show it, but they actually envy people who can say no under such pressure. Drink only if you want to, and even then, you should know your limits... there's no fun in getting drunk and then having a major hangover the next day - trust me, its not nice at all, especially if you got college the next day et al...
Don't smoke even if you want to - it is the most obnoxious habit in the world...
I just realised that I sound like a parent lecturin his childd... sorry... but still, good for you if you can say NO to something you dont want... it'll help you in the long run... :-) sorry, won't go on furthur... hehe...

Neway...i have to admit i got caught up, at my bday party and then again on saturday...i was drinking, not much, about 6 drinks...but still i gave in, though on saturday it wasnt peer pressure, it was because i enjoyed the feeling, being all relaxed...and plus...malibu n coke is like SO lush!! lol..i suppose it is a bad habit...but im hoping i can control it...i will probly get bored of drinking soon, like u get bored of a new toy!!
oh, and i would NEVER think of smoking!!! i cant stand it!!! euch!!!

No, actually, your blog is pretty much the best blog in terms of literal content that I have come across... its pretty much exactly what we're all thinking bout... good to know that someone will let it out in the open... i just write in a diary..hehe...
Good that you hate smokin too... thats one less worry for your parents and you I guess... an as long as you know what you're limit is when it somes to drinking, I guess its ok.. but yeah, I hope drinkin does not become addictive, cause it wastes a life that would otherwise have been put to much better things... its cool to have it once in a while if you like it - just dont over do it to much...hehe... don worry mate, everyone cares bout you... :-)

...glad my blog seems to be working then, lol, my aim was to give an insight into the teenage mind...so it figures that what i write about is probably on many teenagers minds.
I won't become addicted to drinking, even if i did, i would find it very difficult to feed the addiction like, i am too young to buy the drink (then again i am too young to be served, lol, i look older than i actually am), and i live in the middle of nowher...so cant get to pubs n all!!! So i think i am pretty safe!!
Lol, i am going to da Rugby Club (pub place) to a kareoke gig on sunday tho, so probly gonna get wrecked... :s lol...i should come on here and post while im drunk...should give you all some amusment!!
