...i promised i would update again today, so here i am...(sat at my lush new computer :D)...
My topic for blogging 2day is bullying!!!
It is a huge topic and affects everybody, it exists within every age group, every religion, every work place, every country... Everyone of us have been a victim of bullying and even bullyed someone else....maybe not meaningly, but we have! The difficult task is admitting to being bullyed, and bullying. For example, calling someone a name (even just the once) is a form of bullying, though admittedly very small and fairly insignificant!
The thing that brought this blog on is that today i had a bit of a shock, i realised how easy it would be to bully someone...how once you have the power over them you are pretty safe from them doing anything but submitting to it. Don't get me wrong, i would never bully someone purposely...but i just realised how easy it could be....and when people think bullys must be brave cos they risk everything if they are caught, they are wrong! Bullys dont need to be brave...they can be the quietest, mildest of people...
The other thing that has shocked me recently is just because you have left school it doesnt mean bullying stops.....it exists all throughtout life...on different scales, but it is always there...
People say if you speak out about bullying it can be stopped....yes, this is generally true...its always best to speak out. But i don't see a solution to stopping bullying altogether...it will always exist....this isnt a negative, pesimistic view....if you think about it you will realise how right i am!! (though feel free to contradict me)...
Its just, for example, if one day you are a little 'cold' with one of your friends, and they take it to heart...this could be considered bullying!! Things like that can't be helped.....I dont want my views to be right....but i honestly dont see how they arent...i can guarantee everyone reading this has been a victim of bullying at one stage in their life...........

bullying is the most viscious horrible weed that will just spread and ruin your life unless you take a stand against it! ...bullies are far from brave, they are those insecure brats who think by undermining some person they can achieve solice within them selves! ...each and every bully condones their behavior because they are un happy, jelous and plainly just dont like them selves!bullying for them is an outlet for the frustrations and anger something maybe at home or somewhere else triggered in them!its an outlet for the internal pain they are suffering and rather than doin the mature thing and talking to someone..whoever it might be.. they vent their anger on some innocent child!
being a victim of bullying, ive experienced hell! ..from verbal to physical to exclusion to everything.. ive experienced every sort of bullying imaginable for completely irrelavent reasons! ....reasons which i have nothing to do with but because i was the new foreign girl who ppl wanted to get to know i was picked upon!..i used to think the "$%^*(excuse my language!) who bullied me was a tough hard ass chick! .....believe me....she was far from it! ..
bullies only feed of other ppls reactions..they thirve for the attention.. the spotlight.. the adrenaline rush when all it is really is harming and tormenting an innocent! if you deal with it in such a way where you take away that attention they lose everything! .. that craving is their weakness.. take it away and your left with nothing but a quivering unhappy insecure person who is just like or if not worse than you! ....i would say more on this issue but i gotta go babysit! will talk more l8r!
A very well written blog. Keep it up ...
Hi there
Apologies for posting an off topic question here.
I am inviting your views on ABORTION in order to present a case to help those in the developing world.
I personally see abortion as a NECESSARY EVIL and that unwanted pregnancy is not only a personal problem and it is also a very real problem for the society at large.
Do you think it is right to burden say a 15 years old school-going girl with a new life when she is yet to have any economic mean to sustain herself and obviously, most girls of her age are not mentally ready for a family life. Furthermore, is it fair to rob her of her career, aspiration, dream etc., in the name of preserving a life that is yet to be fully developed?
If you have an opinion, please email it to me at divinetalk@gmail.com or if you wish, you may post your comment here: Your Opinion Counts!
Thanks,
La Bona

When I was a kid I was bullied constantly. I was chased every day after school in Jr. High until my bus came. In High School I was picked on by two assholes to the point that I thought I might have to ask my parents to change schools. Today? I don't take crap from anyone. If I get put into a situation that I may have to fight... I tell them "The choice here is yours. One of us will end up going to Jail and one will go to the hospital. I will NOT be going to the Hospital." The expression the get is funny... Once the see that there is no fear in my eyes and just anger at all the assholes out there... they back off. If only I had that anger when I was younger. It took years of getting picked on to pull it out of me.
cowboy....do you honestly believe that violence is the answer..itl just makes things worse!!!!! i was a victim of serious bullying to when i was younger!......but i never resorted to violence!either ignore the person and give him no reaction or try talking to something and discuss better options! using violence will only get you in deeper then u shold be! .... instead of using your anger constructively and chanelling it toward better more productive things you'll vent it out on them......quinessentially you will be no better than them! are you truly willing to stoop to such a level where you are on par with those type of ppl????...the people around you who once supported you will turn against seeing that your no les then them! ....by resorting to violence you could lose your friends, the respect of people and your power over your emotions!...once you lose that your no diffrent to bullies! other people aside are you willing to do something to someone knowing the pain it caused you! ...even if the person may need to be put in his/her place does anyone deserve the pain and suffering you went through???.. could you live with yourself knowing that you inflicted the same pain and horror that once threw you to an extent of changing skools? using violence to get your point across is far from self defence its malicious! there are other ways of "not taking crap from anyone"....do you think that i would stand there and let someone bully me after what i went through?????.....no i wouldnt but i also wouldnt resort to violence because not only does it not solve anything its also pulls you down....if something serios occurs you culd be the one who will"end up going to jail" even if the other person started it!...please dont let violence and anger cloud your better judgement. just think about the consequences...for you and the people around you!
